Privacy Policy

We collect only the information needed to operate KDP Atlas, deliver keyword and market research results, and keep your account secure.

• Account information you provide when registering or updating your profile.
• Usage data generated while you use the research and AI tools.
• Payment information processed by our payment provider.
• Technical signals such as browser, device and approximate location used for security.

When you create an account we store your email address, display name and authentication metadata. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed and salted by our authentication provider, and KDP Atlas staff cannot read them.

We record which tools you use, the number of credits consumed, saved analyses and general activity logs. This lets us enforce fair usage, prevent abuse of the Free plan, debug issues and improve the quality of our results. We do not sell usage data.

Subscription payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Card numbers and billing credentials are entered on Paddle's systems and are never stored on KDP Atlas servers. We retain only the subscription status, plan, and transaction references required for invoicing and support.

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage for session management, language preference, theme, and security (including bot protection). We do not use advertising cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored with row-level access controls so each account can only reach its own records. We enforce security headers, request origin validation, rate limiting and optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) on accounts.

We retain account and research data for as long as your account remains active. Cached third-party API responses are stored temporarily to reduce cost and load. When you delete your account, your personal data and saved analyses are removed, except records we are legally required to keep, such as billing history.

KDP Atlas may share the minimum data required with the following processors:

• Google Gemini — AI-generated book ideas, summaries and insights.
• Rainforest API — Amazon product, review and ranking data.
• DataForSEO — Amazon keyword search volume and related keyword data.
• Paddle — subscription billing, invoicing and tax handling.

Search terms you enter into research tools may be transmitted to these providers to return results. Do not enter sensitive personal information into research fields.

You may access, correct or export your account data, withdraw consent, and request deletion of your account at any time from Account Settings or by contacting us. Account deletion is permanent and removes your saved research.
